The food was delicious, outstanding! The staff was very nice, and we even received a free dessert. Seldom I have been so satisfied after a meal. Would definitely recommend this place to others that visit kanazawa.

I am so glad I finally found this cafe! It is tucked away from any main roads and a little hard to find, but it is located near Kanazawa Castle Park. The food was fantastic and the service was great. I have rarely felt as spoiled for choice in a restaurant in Japan like this- it is so rare to find a vegan place outside of the major metropolitan areas of Japan. I am so excited for the day that I get to come back to this place.

Had quite a nice lunch here, but overall it was average and expensive for what it was. We ordered the ginger steak rice bowl, which was delicous and healthy. No problems with that at all. I ordered the teriyaki cheese burger which was okay, but I was definitely expecting better from all the reviews, and as an avid consumer of veggie burgers I have a lot to compare it to. I couldn't taste much more than the quite overwhelming teriyaki sauce which the burger was slathered in. The patty kind of crumbled and dissolved and there definitely wasn't much texture to it - not sure if that was due to all the sauce or if it wasn't a great patty to begin with. The veggie cheese also looked a bit strange and gelatinous, but again I couldn't taste it anyway. It cost 1600 yen with salad and fries, so it wasn't cheap either, although the salad and the fries were both good.Staff were very pleasant and the salad bowl was nice (also pricey at 1550 yen), but the burger I had was average.

Really great food, tasty vegan baked goods, amazingly friendly owners and a lovely atmosphere. Also a great place to stop by for imported Intelligentsia and Blue Bottle Coffee. Drip coffee and espresso both available. It's great to see such friendly people making a go of running a vegan restaurant in Japan, which can't be the easiest thing to do. Highly recommended!

Very good Vegan restaurant and super friendly service. Very helpful in explaing the menu. Delicious salad with supreme dressing and very tasty Main dish (teriyaki) with rice and vegetables. The place is small, quiet, clean and modern. We will certainly return here.

It’s a very pleasant place to sit in, and a refreshing “being” in the all-too-carnivorous Japanese cuisine. Yet the cost-value is far from being reasonable, and more importantly, the food is not good. Had a veggie hamburger- if you’ve been vegan/vegetarian enough time to know that non-meat food doesn’t have to be gross, it will a disappointment.

English menu available. It's hard sometimes to find good vegetarian (let alone vegan) food in Japan. Los Angeles solves this problem for Kanazawa. Stop here before or after visiting the castle or Kenroku-en gardens for a delicious meal and friendly service. The owner has a twin brother who owns a vegan restaurant in Culver City Los Angeles (hence it's name). There are all sorts of Los Angeles decor around the place to set the mood as well. We had vegan burgers which were delicious and messy!

This restaurant is amazing, not only because of the good vibes and chill ambient, but the food is delicious!!! We ordered the teriyaki chicken burger with vegan cheese and avocado. Also we ordered the tiramisu and the matcha tiramisu and everything was super delicious.

Well, go figure the best (and only real good actually) vegan burger is in the middle of nowhere in Kanazawa. Epic service, epic taste, epic everything. If you too are tired of seeing all these giant spidercrabs all over the city and want something enjoyable to eat, don't hesitate a second and visit this awesome location. Fantastic in many ways. AND I'M NOT EVEN VEGAN.

Located very near Kanazawa castle Los Angeles offers a great variety of vegan food. We opted for the set menu and the portions were very big.Definitely worth a visit.

Very disappointing given the good reviews, cant understand how they got them... Not a good vegitarian burger in any way and i could not finish my meal. Owners were nice though.

I feel really awful writing a bad review about this place, especially as the owners are so lovely and I'm not one to complain! But this was THE most expensive meal we had in Japan and definitely the most disappointing. Whilst the food was tasty, it was super over priced and tiny portions...we left having to get more food from the convenience store.... And we were charged twice for a side when we clearly ordered one. On the plus, the atmosphere is nice and friendly. If money is no option, go for it. If your on a budget I'd try somewhere else. Sorry Los Angeles cafe :(

Expensive and a bit off road so difficult to find. But the food is super fresh and good in taste.

A wonderful restaurant with really helpful and lovely staff. My partner had the truffle burger with vegan cheese and it really tasted great and of a lot of truffle. I had the ginger steak burger and it is also highly recommended. The staff offered us a map of the area but we were leaving that day for Osaka so they recommended a vegan restaurant in Osaka for us. We also bought muffins and they packaged them for us to take on the train. Then they offered us free ice-cream to try. My favourite was the chocolate, it was some of the best ice-cream, if not the best ice-cream, I've tasted.

Amazing vegan food! I couldn't even tell it was vegan, it was so delicious. I went with my boyfriend, who isn't a vegetarian, and he couldn't tell the difference between the fake chicken and the real chicken he eats! I want to go again. The staff were very friendly and kind. Thank you for a great lunch!

Delicious homemade burgers + matcha VEGAN soft serve

This was just lovely. Chilling jazzy music, delicious food and very nice and friendly staff. They also have some gluten free options in the menu! They'll take your order at the table and accept only cash. It's a little bit pricey though, but I think it was worth the money. Despite the fact that they have an english menu, their spoken english is not the best. But you won't have any problems getting along in this place. Totally recommend this place.

Best parts - friendly owner, cozy place, delicious food--especially their burgers.Soy milk beverages are great too.Bad parts - remotely placed, closes very early and you won't get most of the items of you go anytime after 12pm. We're disappointed many times. Plus the prize is way to much for the food.
